Parker Neurofeedback and Zeroground Enter into Strategic Partnership to Provide Free Alternative Therapies to Underserved Communities
NeurOptimal® Neurofeedback sessions will provide 100% safe and
non-invasive way to improve brain function for youth and elderly
DENVER (January 16, 2023)—Parker Neurofeedback, LLC has entered into a strategic partnership with Zeroground, LLC to provide NeurOptimal® Dynamical Neurofeedback sessions to children in marginalized communities in the Denver-metro area.
Zeroground is deeply committed to providing the youth, children and elderly of our communities with the resources and tools they need to prioritize their mental health. By registering as a 501c3, Zero Ground has provided increased accessibility for populations that may have otherwise been unable to receive reliable mental health therapy and related services. In order to provide this empowerment, Zeroground has recruited an experienced team of behavioral health professionals who are dedicated to helping our community members care for their own emotional wellbeing.
Jennifer Tierney, Owner/Founder of Parker Neurofeedback, has partnered with Zero Ground to provide NeurOptimal® Dynamical Neurofeedback, a 100% safe and non-invasive way for the brain to improve its functioning with short regular sessions. The treatment can help with focus, regulating sleep patterns, controlling anxiety, behavioral issues and more.
“Zeroground is revolutionizing the way therapy and behavioral services are offered. Through its unique modality, patients will feel completely comfortable in their environment. Parker Neurofeedback is proud to provide NeurOptimal® Dynamical Neurofeedback sessions to members of underserved communities in the Denver-metro area through this innovative approach where they have access to quality care with the assistance of cutting-edge neurotechnology,” said Jennifer Tierney, Owner/Founder of Parker Neurofeedback. “Through this collaboration, Parker Neurofeedback and Zeroground are providing marginalized communities greater access to a range of mental health services that have the potential for profound benefits both now and into the future.”
Zeroground was founded by Nathalye Balistrire, a Venezuelan-American licensed professional counselor passionate about providing inclusive and empathic treatment for children and families. Her biculturalism and bilingualism (English/Spanish) enable her to work within cultural contexts that are often overlooked or taken for granted by other therapists. Along with her specialized expertise, Nathalye Balistrire has shown overwhelming dedication to ensuring accessibility, understanding and emotional support for those struggling with disability, language proficiency or cultural difference.
“Our youth are facing unprecedented mental health crises and traditional therapies have not been nearly as effective as we had hoped. This is why we need to explore new ways to help provide support for these vulnerable children. Though money is a large barrier to access, it should not be the reason an individual cannot get the help they require. We are dedicated to breaking this cycle of financial dependency so that our youth can better navigate their realities and come out feeling stronger and more resilient than ever before,” said Nathalye. “To ensure a holistic approach to care, Zeroground has developed specific packages that offer a combination of outpatient and inpatient treatment options including NeurOptimal® neurofeedback sessions, nutrition therapy, traditional talk therapy and more.”
Zeroground is currently fundraising and seeking grants to open new facilities as soon as possible. Donations are accepted here.
